  1. Kia ora Jahzara,

What a pleasure it is to read through your activities this morning. Wow, I am really, really impressed by your effort and by the quality of your work. In this case you attributed each picture perfectly and included information about the pros/cons of each option before selecting the boat. Nicely done!

I think that you have made a wise choice, particularly given the fact that you haven't traveled by boat very often. It would be a really nice change for you and a great way to see the beautiful scenery (and possibly some amazing fish!). I also think that you are wise to suggest that walking around Milford Sound would be challenging and require you to have the right supplies. You wouldn't want to run out of water, especially on a hot day like today! Speaking of the heat, I am planning to head out to the beach later this afternoon for a quick swim. What are you up to this afternoon? Will you have time to post more SLJ activities or will you be heading outside to enjoy the fresh air?

Either way, I hope that you have a great day!

    Bye for now,
    Rachel :)

P.S. Please know that I am reading all of your work and keeping careful track of the activities in our master spreadsheet. I am not able to comment on all of the activities today as I am working on my own. Our full team comes back next week (after the holidays finish) and we will all work together to comment on each of your activities.

    1. Talofa Rachel,

Sorry I didn't reply to you earlier. Actually I was outside all day! What a disaster! It was very nice weather today wasn't it? We filled up 2 pools today (small one and big 1) one for my little cousins and sisters and one for us. We had lots of fun shooting water at everyone! After all the water we had a yummy dinner and some icy cold ice cream.

Sorry I didn't have the time to do some SLJ blogging I just haven't had the time to do some blogging. I will try my best to catch up on some work.

I'll keep that in mind and i'll be sure to know that you are all busy.

    2. Talofa Jahzara,

It sounds like you had a great day with your cousins and your sisters. My sister (Leigh) and I used to have a pool that we could fill up each summer and play in. I loved it!

What kind of ice cream did you have after your yummy dinner? My absolute fav is cookies 'n cream ice cream. What about you?

Look forward to blogging with you again soon!

      Cheers,
      Rachel :)

    3. Talofa Rachel,

I am one of the boring ice cream tasters. My favorite ice cream is vanilla and boysenberry! Yumm! And that is exactly what we had!

      Thanks,
      Jahzara!
