Measurements! ~ Maths!

This presentation is based off Measurements. We are getting back into the system of learning our measurements. But is also based off things we've done in the past. Eg, decimal, converting units and finding the perimeter and area.

Task Description:

In this presentation we had measurement questions. Room 7 had to figure out how to solve the question and what the answer is. Once we figured out what the answer is we had to explain how we worked it out. One of my favorite questions were how we were to convert other units of measurements.

Task Description:

 Room 7 math are learning about measurements. We are learning about cm (centimeters), mm (millimeters), m (meters) and km (kilometers) as you could see. In this task room 7 had to arrange these units of measurements from smallest to largest.  

Measure It!!

Task description:

In this task room 7 had to measure different items off our presentation. There was a ruler at the bottom of the items to help us measure all of the items. After Measuring we had to write the length of the item.

After we have finished the presentation we had to post it on our blogs with a Walt and a task description.

Task description:

Room 7 math are learning about measurements.  Today we had to figure out how much cm = to mm. example: What does 10 cm = to mm. Room 7 are also doing it the opposite way so another example is: what does 10 mm = to cm.

The Teachers Race

Task Description:

Room seven are learning about time and measurements. This presentation is about my three teachers in the yr 6 block having a race. In the presentation, it asks how long would it take him/her to run __ km. we would have to explain how we got the answer and would have to explain how we worked it out.
