  1. Kia ora Jahzara,

Congratulations on completing the Summer Learning Journey! The team and I have really enjoyed reading all of your blog posts this summer. All of your blog posts have been written to a very high quality and you should be very proud of yourself. It is awesome that you have completed all 60 Summer Learning Journey activities! This is a huge achievement :)

This morning I was watching as you were posting all of the last few days of activities and I was so happy to see this final blog post come in from you. I am so pleased that you enjoyed the programme and learnt lots of interesting facts about the world. The reality of climate change is really quite scary so I am thrilled that you want to help make a change!

Keep up the great blogging this year. I will see you at assembly in February :)

    Sophie and the SLJ team.

  2. Mōrena Jahzara,

My name is Georgia and I am the Cluster Manager for the Kaikohekohe (Northland) tamariki. I am so happy to have been told by Sophie that you have completed all 60 activities from the Summer Learning Journey! What an incredible achievement and to have finished on the last day of the programme is so awesome. I am positive that you will be going back to school excited, confident and ready to learn due to your hard work this summer.

I know all of the commenting staff from the SLJ have loved encouraging and supporting you throughout this programme and are very proud of your efforts.

I hope you have a wonderful 2019 and celebrate your success this summer with your whanau.

  3. Hi Jahzara,

WOW! Great timing on finishing the final post of the Summer Learning Journey, how impressive. I hope you comment as much as you can and that you are able to blog more for the following holidays. Before anything else, Congratulations on finishing the final post of the SLJ, your presentation is super nice and really creative, great job. I love the images you have added to the title as well as the other ones on the continuing slides, there really cool.

As much as you, I am really dissapointed in seeing and hearing that the SLJ programme has now ended for most of us Pt Englanders, which is totally upsetting I know! I am really glad that you took in some things you learnt, what surprised you and so on. You are really smart and once again Congratulations on finishing, keep up the amazing work Jahzara.

What was your favorite activity out of all activites that was given to you?

    Yours Sincerely,
    Hinerangi

    1. Talofa Hinerangi,

Thanks. I really did try my hardest to get all my activity's done before tonight. I really didn't want to rush to try and get them finished before 12.00 Am. I'm really glad that you have really enjoyed this blog. I'm also glad that you like all the images I have added in for people like you to see. I would like to say Thank-you for congratulating me as you know it was my last activity.

I am too, disappointed that the Summer Learning Journey has now ended for all of us students. I know that I will be joining the Summer/Winter Learning Journey once it starts back up again. Will you be joining once it starts back up again?

Ohh my favorite activity that I completed had to be Mighty Mangroves (Wk 2, D2 A2) I had a really fun time explaining why Harry Potter is the strongest person I know (Well, after my dad [of course]) Do you have any favorite Harry Potter movies/books?

What's your favorite activity that was given to you from 2k18-2k19?

      Thanks,
      Jahzara

  4. Hello Jahzara,
Well done for successfully completing the Summer Learning Journey, and making an awesome slideshow about it. You deserve a big congratulations!

I like how you have hope that in the future people will work hard and pollution won't get worse. I think it will, but we'll see what happens. I'm happy you care for the animals and realise they're dying too, and we aren't doing too much about it. You can raise awareness about it and make it change.

What is your favourite part of the journey?

    Happy Blogging

    1. Kia ora Rachel,

Sorry for the late reply, thank you so much for congratulating me on finishing all the activities. I just want to say thank you for doing this every year. I'm sure all students loved to blog about the environment, animals, places and more. Another thanks for making sure you comment on our blogs every now and then.

We start school on the 4th of February. I can't wait to see who I have as my teacher this year. I don't really mind, but I do want a teacher that will push me and help me too. I know all the teachers will do that either way and so that's why i'm alright with any! I also can't wait to see my friends! I miss them so much!

I can't wait to see you along with Sophie to hand out all the prizes for the top bloggers and the certificates. I can't wait to see you guys!

      Thanks for the amazing holiday!
      Jahzara :)
