Put A stop to plastic bags [Save the environment]

Day 3: Making Promises
Activity 2: The Plastic Pledge.
On your blog, tell us what they think about Countdown’s decision to stop using plastic
bags

Of course I agree with Countdown’s decision because, they are also referring to saving
the environment. They know that plastic bags are are harmful to the environment and to sea
creatures. Like I said in a blog post before, most turtles favorite foods are jellyfish.

When plastic bags are in the water, it looks like a jelly fish floating to the top! Of course
the turtles would think it is jelly fish and so they would want a bite. Once the turtles
swallow the plastic bag it’ll start to choke and slowly pass.

As Countdown have stopped using plastic bags they have made reusable bags that you
can take home and bring back to use at Countdown once again. Some people may not
like this idea and will sometimes go against it, I say “put a stop to pollution, that means
no more plastic bags!” "Save our environment!"

  1. Hello Jahzara,
I like your detailed posts that are really good for informing people. Obviously people will agree with the fact that Countdown has stopped using plastic bags, and I do too. It is very nice that they've sold many reusable bags that are only for $1, and they are helping the environment which could've costed thousands of dollars. It does look like jellyfish, and turtles really fall for them and eat them, then sadly die.

How many times have you used reusable bags?
