Jahzara @ Pt England School

Kia ora, my name is Jahzara and I attend Pt England School. I am currently a year 8 student trying to achieve as much as I can. I am also 12 years old turning 13 in June. I am glad to say that I was awarded the role of becoming a Rangatahi. Which means I am the leader for the kapa haka group this year. Mrs Tele’a and Whaea Kelly are my home class teachers. Miss Tapuke is my literacy teacher and Mrs Stone teaches me and others numeracy. I’m looking forward to going to year 8 leadership camp in term 2. I enjoy writing because when I write my mind takes over and I’m able to write down my thoughts. It’s a time for me to be free and to calm my mind. I also enjoy playing netball and cricket. I’ve been playing netball since I was 7 years old and I’ve been playing cricket since I was 9 years old. One of my goals is to help others understand the meaning of being a role model. A new day, a new blessing, a new hope :)
