Line Graphs!

Walt: Interpret information presented within graphs

Task Description:

In this presentation we were tasked to finish the following slides. This week we looked at graphs. We get new slides almost everyday and so I try my very best to complete them. Today was about line graphs! It was pretty fun. Home/distant learning has been pretty cool although it has been pretty boring. But luckily school keeps me busy. We had to answer the questions with full answers.

Enjoy :)

My Invention :) ~ Literacy

Walt: Form and communicate ideas.

Task Description:

Miss Tapuke gave us something a bit interesting this week for Literacy. She gave us the task to sketch out an invention that'll be made and be useful for 2057. I decided to sketch out a drone that'll help us reduce our pollution. We then had to come up with 2 sentences that describes and tells my audience what it is and what it does. Then we had to come up with 3 names for our inventions and post it on our blogs!

Here's mine :)

Bar Graphs!

Walt: Interpret the information presented within graphs.

Task description:

Today was the first day back to school. Term 2! To kick maths off, Mrs Stone had given us a presentation to complete. It was about Bar Graphs. We were to complete the slide above! Today's slides were rather easy. But thats mostly because we've had some experience in the past years.

Enjoy :)

My Family Tree :D

My mum's parents & Grandparents are full Maori. Her parents grew up with lots of siblings, compared to my mum and her sister. Our grandmother enjoy's taking us out to places with our cousins. Places like the movies, shops and out for walks! Our grandfather enjoys taking us out to places like the pools and playgrounds :) Ajani, Eva and I have been lucky enough to have met our mum's grandmother's when we were younger. Our great grandmothers :D

My dad is Tongan/British! I didn't find this out until, well, to be honest. I only found this out today! We weren't able to meet our great grandfather's and our great grandmother but we were able to meet our great grandmother Fehoko back in Tonga when we were younger. My papa & nana live just around the corner from our house. We usually visit a lot but now that we're in isolation we don't visit as much. We usually go out shopping and out to the park with our cousins. My nana and papa also have a whole lot of siblings compared to my dad and aunty.

Well, yeah! I grew up with 4 siblings. They can be a bit annoying but we're still family :D I'm still shocked that we're part British and that I just found out today!

Hope you enjoyed !

This means to think of Covid-19 as a test. And when you think of a test, think of passing. Have faith and believe you can pass the test! Believe anything is possible. Outsmart the test and stick to the rules.

Even though there's a whole lot going on it's best to stay calm. If you're calm, you'll understand and'll know how to manage :) If you're strong on the inside and out and you believe, then you're ready :D

Keeping your distance, not just by contact but also through personal reasons. It's good to keep a good distance because you're not contacting anyone but it's also good to keep your distance with others. You never know if someone is actually having a rough time. It'll keep you safe from harming them and/or yourself :D

Task 2: Extra - Text Message
If you were given the ability to text message today to all people of Aotearoa - what  would it be? NO more than 10 words!

I decided to base my text message about Convid-19. Some people aren't taking it seriously and I want people to know that Covid-19 is dangerous. Staying safe and following the rules that our prime minister has set for us to obey. We're all in this together!

👍😋🔌

Overall, this week's Easter Learning Journey has been super fun and has kept me lots of company. I reckon I did pretty good considering I started a bit late. In the end I managed to get the activities finished :D

For some random reason I felt silly while doing some of the activities. But don't worry, it's not unusual. It's just my just my personality.

Oh and also, I always seemed to lose my charger in random places. Underneath the couch, underneath the bean bags. You name it, it'll most likely be there!
