Happy Birthday!!!

yesterday was my little baby twin sisters Birthday Faith and Gene. They were turning 2 years old. we were planing on having a big feed with our families. in the morning we went shopping for the big feed we also got some nice clothes for the twins to wear. after shopping around we did the decorations and started cooking. After all of the food that we made we cleaned the house and waited till people turned up. we waited and waited but suddenly we hear bang bang bang! it was someone knocking on the door I opened the door and my nana and papa shouted happy birthday!! we said thank you and waited some more again we waited and waited then it got boring so I went out side to play we had so much fun more people turned up and it got packed. Anyways my dad told us to settle down and to keep the noise down. We said the prayer and started eating. The food was yum!! It was a big day for us and the twins happy birthday faith and gene.

Girls Night With Cousin And Sister

This is us hanging out with each other. We love being with each other but we can be annoying to each other at the same time. This is our night, girls night only, the boys are out training in the cold dark wind. Girls Rule!! on the left is my sister Eva, in the middle of course is ME!! and on the right side is my cousin Oalii.

Animal journey

Some animals woke up at 6:00am just to go on a journey. These animals names are Guppy the pug, Lizzy the goat and Ben the bee. They went for a journey  to the city, they were going to go on an animal plane ride to Cook Island. They went through  traffic jam just to get to the airport. Their flight was at 8:00 am so they had enough time to get to the airport, so they stopped for lunch. For lunch they had Mcdonalds.

After lunch the animals made their  way to the animal airport. Once they were at the airport they went to their plane and took off. Half way through the plane ride Logan and Nick the pilot said “we're going down, everyone put on you lifejackets” the plane broke down and smash into the deep ocean.

All the animal swam up and were safe. They needed to find a house to live and stay in so they tried using the broken plane parts to help them float on the water, they also tried to find small part to use as a oar. “Yay” shouted the animals “we are safe we also found things that would float” said Guppy. They started to row north and then south they didn’t know where they were going. Then nick had an idea, he tried navigating by using the clouds. He said to everybody “did you know if you look at the bottom of the clouds you could see a reflect of green if land is near”

After nick's little talk to the animals they started to look at all of the clouds then Lizzy found one cloud that had green at the bottom of it. Suddenly Lizzy shouted “there I see one” pointing to one of the clouds, “good job” said ben, all the animals shouted horay and started rowing west. Day after day night after night they found their way to land.

“At last” cried the animals “we made it” said Nick “good job to all” said logan, “come on now, let's go” said guppy so they walked off and traveled around to find somewhere to stay in. bang bang bang! Knocked logan, kiarana said  the owner of the house that logan knocked on. “What did he say” said ben “He said hi” said Guppy “what” answer Ben “he said hi” shouted Guppy again “oh sorry” Ben said to Guppy. Logan said “hello can you look after these animals they are very well taught and behaved”, “ok but you are going to be telling me what they need everyday and night” said the man, nick said “they need water pet food and meat”, “ok” answered the man “by the way” he said “yes” said the pilots “my name is riro” “ok said logan bye now see you later this is your new home for now” “bye we are going to miss you” cried the animals. “I’m never going to forget you two” cried the animal again

And that was the end of my narrative.

Miss west has taught us how to use and attribute photos we find online which are free to reuse. It is best to find an image that says commons.wikipedia.org to use.

3D shapes

This week we have been learning about 3D shapes.

You know what it was like back in the day, right? Well, do you know enough about sailing? Sailing is one of the known hobbies that you would find Maori doing. So this is what I will be talking about. Did you know when Maori arrived in Aotearoa, they only had materials that would keep them alive. One of the common materials that Maori and Islanders use is wood. Wood is very useful, if making a boat it would be possible for water to stay out of the boat if using wood. You must be thinking how sailing has changed over time? Well now our boats are faster because they have engines. Back then they only had oars and waka. A waka is a wooden boat. It uses wind to get through water and also uses oars.

What has happened to Miss West TODAY!!

NO MISS WEST HAS VANISHED!!

Today Miss West has called in sick (NOT). Miss West is actually on a plane flying to Australia, she is so sick of teaching us 24\7. Anyways she’s probably going to see some koala bears.

After that she’s going to do some other fun things like…. Going on a cruise, meeting celebrities, going to the movies, going shopping with her friends and having the best day of her life (well, maybe not that much things but she is still probably having the best day of her life).  

THAT’S NOT FAIR, ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS WORK WORK WORK AND WORK!! (if Miss West wasn’t my teacher i’ll probably tell Mr Burt what she has been doing!) she’s probably laughing at us because we’ve been having to do work ALL DAY!!!! JOKES ON YOU WE ARE ACTUALLY DOING FUN STUFF (MAYBE).

Land boat designing

We are designing a land boat for the purpose of racing other students and to help us learn more of other technology. Room 10 is designing a land boat. We will be working in our reading groups.

Me and my friend Chance are thinking of what useful things we could use for our land boats. These are some of our ideas: caps from water bottles for the wheels and to make it move, water bottles for the body and so the land boat won’t get wet and straws help the land boat move.

When we finish making our land boats we will be racing our boats across the concrete near our class. It is going to be lots FUN!!

Netball GAME!!
