My name is Mikey. I'm a member of the Summer Learning Journey (SLJ) team, along with Patricia, Lee, Izzy and Sophie. Congratulations on completing so many activities! You must have been very busy over your holiday. :)
I really enjoyed reading your post about flax weaving. The way you've presented it really makes your blog pop! :) When I was in primary school we made flowers and kete out of flax. It was quite tricky but really fun once I got the hang of it. You're the first SLJ blogger that I've come across who has thought about the possibility of selling their flax creations - very entrepreneurial of you. :)
It sounds like you're quite creative. What kinds of things do you like to draw?
I look forward to reading more posts from you soon Jahzara. Until then, happy blogging! :)
Thanks for the comment! Wow, you are very lucky, the reason why I say that is because you got to weave flowers and kete's at school. at our school we usually use paper. Wow I thought that there would at least be 2-4 people who would have mentioned selling there flax creations.
I enjoy drawing characters from TV shows and thing I that pop out to me. Like if I were to see something like, a bowl of fruit. I would get me a pen and paper and start to draw.
Kia ora Jahzara,
